Open Water Diver

Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. We have taught thousands of people to scuba dive, who have gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world!

For the PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older and you need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.

What will you learn?
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development (online or independent study) to understand the principles of scuba diving
  • Confined Water Dives to learn the basic scuba skills, as well as practise buoyancy control and communication skills
  • Dives in open water to use your skills and explore!

What scuba gear will you use?
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to properly use all scuba gear, including mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a air tank.
