Open Water Diver

For the PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older and you need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.

What will you learn?
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development via Tablet or PC to understand the principles of scuba diving
  • Confined Water Dives to learn the basic scuba skills, as well as practise buoyancy control and communication skills
  • Dives in open water to use your skills and explore!

What scuba gear will you use?
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to properly use all scuba gear, including mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a air tank.
